The Lost World of Unknown "Millionaire" Network Marketers

When people get started in network marketing, there seems to be a rush or excitement to be a leader, coach, getting on stage, and a whole “fake it til you make it” mentality.  Newbies start writing articles claiming to be experts and coaches, take lifestyle pictures and get caught up in branding themselves, all before they’ve signed even one person into their business.
There are many types of people who are successful in Network Marketing.  There are the home party Networkers, the belly-to-belly networkers, the phone warrior networkers and the internet marketing networkers, among others.  All these methods work, it’s about putting these methods to work and taking action that gets results..
Since I work in the Real Estate lead generation industry, I work with people who have been calling leads for many years.  While we work with a lot of top names in the industry, we also work with many millionaires who are relatively unknown in the industry.  They are leaders in their companies, however they aren’t focused on being a star, rather they get on the phone, provide support and create duplicatable systems for their teams to follow.
I’ve asked my clients what makes them so successful, since some of them aren’t even on facebook or online, and they say that having a consistent flow of leads is number one, and then having an organized system to run their business every single day.  Goals are set, team meetings are attended and action is taken.
If you are serious about building a long lasting business in Network Marketing, you’ve got to take it seriously and run it like a business not a hobby.  Take action every day and ask yourself if the activities you are doing are conducive to a profitable outcome.  I’m not suggesting that people stop writing articles and posting on facebook, I am suggesting that people should look at their activities and determine whether it is contributing to their bottom line, and limit the time sucking activities that aren’t producing profitable results. If you aren’t truly a leader and haven’t made thousands of dollars yet, don’t say that you have.  Reputation is very important in this industry, and it can be quickly tarnished by false statements.
To be successful, you need to determine that number.  Is it producing an income of $1000 a month, $5000, or $50,000+?  Being famous and being a speaker should not be the goal.  That will come with time, if you can produce in the industry.  Every single millionaire network Marketer that I have ever met has put in a lot of time, money, and failures to get to where they are.  Get on the phone or get out in the field and start talking to people about your business and sign up one person at a time.  You can do it.  The unknown Millionaires do it every day.
